I was disappointed

This is the sequel to "The Shirt Off My Back" and i hoped for a better read. The author really did do her homework with Business acumen. She wanted to impress us with her knowledge of Kidney failures, dialysis and the use of Foreign languages but the Business acumen of Catherine's company and her use of Foreign languages was over the top (TMI). She spent too much time talking about Catherine and her company which proved outdrawn and useless. I hated the ending and I hope that there is no sequel to this novel because I have no interest. I have no interest in the character of Catherine. She has overstayed her welcome. I was sorry to not read more about the Alisa and Ariana.

Great read

I just finished reading this book. It was just as good as the first. A real page turner but you must read the 1st book in the series to understand the "Queen B".

Touching Story

This is the first book I read by this author but it won't be the last. This story was good to the last drop. I hated Catherine with a passion. She was one evil woman!!!! The book was also informative as to kidney disease. Alot of the things discussed, I did not know. I highly recommend this book.

Awesome

This was a wonderful follow up to The Shirt Off His Back!!! This book was well written and kept you going until the very end (which only took two days to get...lol) I wonder if there will be a part 3??

"What A Sequel"

Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. Why Why Why Ms. Ebonysatin Brown, do you have Terry appear so whimpish when he deals with Catherine, but makes Jackie feel insecure when she voices her opinion on the matter. I didn't like how Catherine breezes into their lives causing havoc, and Terry and Ariana are bending over backwards to accommodate her. This book made me angry, sad, and I laughed a few times. Catherine didn't deserve Alisa's ultimate sacrifice. I really enjoyed this book.

A Great Sequel

This is the type of author I like, one that knows how to start a book off the right way and keep readers attentions. Some authors I come across drag the story line and characters so much; that by chapter 2 I've given up and book the book back. But anyway time for the review...LOL. Everyone has to remember Terry from 'TSOMB', the loving father of twin girls and the hell his 'ex' put him through. Well, the family is back and stronger than ever. Ariana and Alisa are 18 year old now and will come across some heavy decision when its comes to their birth 'mother'. Terry will no longer be able to help them with this decision, its has to be something they wanna do. Catherine is still the nasty, spiteful, hateful lady she was in part one, but even worst now that she has more money and more control over EVERYTHING (so she thinks) when an illness pushes her back and she learns the hard way that having family and friends is really a true blessing from the Lord and it should never be something that's took advantage of. Readers will laugh, cry, and scream out at the characters in this book.
