Written in 1954 or 1955, this observations and sententiae remain sharply relevant, even after nearly half a century.Archbishop Sheen does not preach a gospel of evasion from moral absolutes, but neither is he a humourless rigorist. During his lifetime, through a ministry in the media of both print and television, he reached more souls than Cardinal Newman did. In "Way to Inner Peace," the believing Christian will find not only a challenge but perhaps a restoration to sanity and sanctity (arguably, the same thing).
