Bas and Micki-SPOILERS

Favorite scene with Micki- Getting the info. they need on their friend's captor. She is one tough cookie. Very street smart and street wise. She got what the others couldn't. Favorite scene with Bas- At his most vulnerable-not wanting to let her go. When he said I'll miss you. Together- Rescuing their friend from a not so evil dudette. What did you like about Micki- Although not a typical like, I liked her because of the way she grew up-on the streets. Rarely is a BLAZE heroine a druggie and although not a prostitute, close to it. It made her seem more emotionally real. She wanted to get off the streets, and did so. She helped her friend in need. She wanted to make something of her life. She was a tough cookie. She was street smart and street wise. What didn't you like about Micki- When she felt like she needed to use sex to get what she wanted. What did you like about Bas- His love for Micki. For his sister. For his friend. You could count on him. He overcame his childhood dramas to become very successful, although he didn't let anyone get close. Except Micki. What didn't you like about Bas- There wasn't anything I didn't like about Bas. Casting Micki, I'd cast Mira Sorvino. Casting Bas, I'd cast Julian McMahon.

A sensual feast ? Highly recommended

Micki Carmichael ran away from home when she was sixteen, finding motivation to remain on the streets for the last five years while she looked after her friend Danielle. A lively and entertaining read, UP TO NO GOOD showcases Julie Elizabeth Leto's usual talent for sensual storytelling. While the sizzle definitely satisfies, the taut plotting keeps the tale moving. Readers who had eagerly awaited Micki's story will discover a fascinatingly complex character. Her savvy flair and unexpected vulnerabilities certainly capture both the reader's and Sebastian's heart. A study of opposites, Micki and Sebastian has more in common than what might be immediately obvious. Their insecurities and lack of self-esteem not only level the playing field but also bring them together in unexpected ways. Provocative, romantic and fun, UP TO NO GOOD comes highly recommended.

I think Leto needs to write Sexcapdes for real and sell it, certain to be a bestseller and make her a tidy fortune!Micki is a brassy, very down to earth woman who has faced the world and its harsh realities on her own.
