A good "fluffy" story.

I hadn't heard of the series before and I only listened to this one because my mom had it in her car. This is the sixth in a series of books. Coming in this late in the series is usually a big problem. It could be really bad depending on the depth of the previous stories. In this case it's not so bad as this story line deals mainly with humor. Betsy the vampire queen is getting ready for her wedding day(or I should say night?). Strange things happen as her father dies, her groom disappears, her best friend is dying of cancer, her other friends disappear, her sister the spawn of Satan is in different and the werewolves make a house call and Satan herself pays a visit looking like Lena Olin Betsy has to figure out what happened to her groom while planning the wedding and dealing with her new baby(her orphaned 1/2 brother). I must confess I probably should have started with the other books as I think I am missing parts about the story and the characters involved. It's not enough that I wondered why I wasted my time but I do feel I might have missed things. The reader is Nancy Wu. She does a decent job as Betsy. In fact she sounded like I would have expected Betsy to speak. The other characters? Well? I didn't care for them. At times they annoyed me. Overall, it's fun little fluffy story but do read/listen to the previous stories first!

She delivers again

MaryJanice Delivers another installment of her Queen Betsy stories. I really liked this book. I loved when the werewolves came, and how she talked to them "Dildo breath." and other catchy lines. I laughed out loud a few times. I liked that Betsy and Sinclair finally tied the knot. Jessica being cured was really cool. I didn' think she'd die--but how she was cured was unpredictable. I can't wait until undead and unworthy.

Please Don't Let This Be The End...

I Started Reading this Series and now I'am hooked I enjoyed reading about Betsy and I couldn't put it down I have read the whole series and I am hoping there are more! Please I can't be without Betsy. If anyone does read this series and you will be hooked just as I am.

Best Betsy yet

Great change up. I have been reading the Betsy books since the beginning. This is the best one yet. The characters are evolving and becoming even more interesting. Can't wait for the next installment.

A fun romp

While I would recommend reading the previous books in this series (and possibly her werewolf series) before picking this one up, it is an enjoyable adventurous romp. Not much can be said without spoiling too much of the plot, but it is a well paced adventure, full of humor. Let's just say that trying to figure out what exactly is going on, as Betsy realizes that there are too many horrible coincidences, is half the fun.
