something for everyone

This book begins with a review of some basic silk ribbon embroidery stitches, as well as instructions for fused applique (something I never tried with silk ribbon embroidery before)and dimensional ribbon applique. The designs in the book include something for everyone, from flowers to fruit to pigs and clowns. There is a holiday section which includes an extensive collection of Christmas designs, as well as a couple of designs for Halloween and Easter. If you're thinking of trying this craft and don't know where to start, try this book.
