Blue, will you marry me? Please?!

This book is BEYOND Five stars. I don't think I've read an inter-racial book quite like this before (and I've read several). The issue of race never (and I do mean never) came up so that was very refreshing. Its not to say Blue didn't know he was dating a black woman or that Toni didn't realize that he was white but it was just....a romance story. A beautiful one at that. The book is pretty much about Toni who no longer believes in men and pretty much thinks love is a scam since she's been looking for it all her adult life so when she meets Blue she is looking for nothing more than a "passionate fling". Blue on the other hand is not. He knew without even seeing Toni's face that she was "the one." Can you see the conflict? She wants just sex while denying what's really in her heart, and Blue wants romances, the picket fence etc. Add to it an ex who wants his money and two fumbling twins who don't know much of anything (who I loved...they were awesome), a sister who also finds love and changes her ways and you have a great story with an even better supporting cast. Thank you Ms Amos for a great read.

She finds all the answers in handsome Blue Cooper, a man that is loyal and expects nothing but loyalty from the people around him, can he convince Toni to leave the past behind and trust in love.

Really True Blue!

I loved this book. It's very funny, I found myself laughing out loud in the library of all places. Blue and Toni are really great together in that they bring out the best in each other. Blue allows Toni to believe in men again. Toni gives Blue just what he now wants in his life, a speical someone to live the rest of his life with, and he is not taking no for an answer! Much love to Ms Amos, very nice work!

IT TOOK A WHILE, BUT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!

oh, i know this book definitely took me awhile to find, but it was well worth the wait. it's at the top of my list for a nice afternoon read. you go robyn!toni and "blue" were really cute characters. i mean, toni thought she could turn the tables and play a dude, and she ended up falling head over heels in love! and blue, with his piercing gaze, was the bomb diggity in every aspect. i mean, he had hard the strong, hard body, the 'no fear' attitude, and the beautiful blue eyes. i LOVE the idea of a milk chocolate brotha with blue eyes! and the drama constantly had me steadily turning the pages WAY past my bed time! you go robyn!

One question: Does Blue Cooper have any brothers?!! Wow!

True Blue has got to be one of the candidates for Romance of the Year! It has everything--romance, passion, supense, and humor--that I look for. I really enjoyed this one. So much so that I have just ordered the rest of Ms. Amos' books.Almost from the first page, I was laughing hysterically. Blue's pickup lines were a riot! And let's not forget JB and the idiot twins and April's adventure with them. I especially enjoyed that one not only for its humor, but for the opportunity it gave Blue and Toni to learn to trust and depend on each other.This story is an overall winner. Buy it! Read it! Love it!
