Great Story

This book is so good! I love books that are writen like journal. You will love it. trus brother is handy cap but he is a good brother. You will love it if you read it.

Sad but Happy

Tru is a girl who in the beginning seems very snobby.But deep down she's terrific!She doensnt seem like she loves her mentally disabled brother-but she loves him more than anything!Along the way,the times she stands up for him,is just numerous!its a terrific book and i recommend it alot.She enters a video contest,and the winner's tape is shown on tv.Can you guess who she did it about?

Touches your heart

Truly wonderful journal format of a novel!

I am book-A-HOLIC and was truly sick of the dumb, books dealing with girls and their boyfriends or crushes. This book isn't like that, but it is about a girl named Trudy who is living as a teen in the modern world. Her problems are totally different than some girls her age, but she still lives an everyday life like me. Her main concern is her brother who is mentally ill, and wants to find a cure for his illness. Through this remarkably written, corky journal of Trudy you find that life has some rocky twists. I hope that any girl out there dying for a heart-felt novel will pick up this book and read it...Fast! Also check out another great book by this author called Multiple Choice. ...

Witty and imaginitive with a creative format.

As a 12-year-old, I have read an uncountable number of books, several in the form of diaries or journals, letters, or the like. While these were all very good, so far I believe Tru Confessions was the best. It has a touch of humor, mixed with a dash of thought and insight. Trudy, or Tru for short, keeps a computer diary. This makes for all sorts of strange and cute symbols. Meanwhile her brother Eddie is disabled. Throughout the book Tru is searching for a cure for Eddie, which in itself leads to touching and downright hilarious situations. To mix things up a bit, the cable company puts out a Want ad for a tape to fill a half-hour time slot. Tru, always big on creating movies, starts her video right away. For a while it's all she can think of. When a mysterious person on the net, called DeeDee, makes contact with Tru, she is determined to stay in touch. Throughout the book, there are several plot twist, and new problems, and the ending is a surprise. However, none of the "several" plots makes the book confusing; they in fact enhance it! This is one one of the best books I've ever read (and trust me, I've read alot!)
