Trance Dance your life

I have to thank you in the first place to the wonderful times that i spent with Wilbert Alix and what i learned from his lectures when i did the Trance Dance facilitator training in Germany with him. This was when i first came across this book from Frank Natale and immediately purchased it and read it. It contains lots of good and accurate information about how several indigenous cultures practice their own dance rituals but it also introduces people into meditation and breathing. Trance Dance can be a way of getting in real touch with the human body and seeing beyond the box that society has created for us. Many of our pains and traumas are stored in the physical body and the way Frank Natale explored this realm was really outstanding and today through Wilbert and many others around the world Trance Dance is more alive than ever and touching people's hearts in many ways. So Thank You Frank Natale for your wonderful wisdom and direct explanations and thank you Wilbert for keeping the Trance Dance flame alive. Love, Wahido [...]

Refreshing, Provocative and Transforming

Mr. Dr. dance is an embodyment of love, power, clarity and fearlessness. He has a very empowering and personally very agreeable views on spirit, sex, love, power and of course illuminating information on the ancient technique of trance dancing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Trance dance is fantastic

Good book, well written and helped me understand more about my five rhythms dancing experiences. What I found a bit challenging to understand (which is why i gave this a 4 not a 5) was the whole breathing through the nose explanation. He spoke as if breathing through the mouth was a lower way of breathing, he does not even consider what a person can do who has inflamed nose and can only breath through mouth like me. Other than that the rest of the book was great.

This book was from the beginning of my journey!

This book was VERY inspiring to me and without It I would not have developed the same way. When I first got it about 6 or so years ago I read it many times and highlighted almost every word on every page. I highly recommend this to anyone on a spiritual path especially those involved in dance of any kind. This book may positively and powerfully alter your perception of dance and the posibility of visionary experience and natualy feelings of ecstacy after falling under the trance of the dance. Check it out!

Execellent extreme and informative

I have the CD shamans breath and wish to obtain the other CD's mentioned in the book as the music is excellent, a unique blend of traditional trible sounds with synthized sounds creating a potent dance mix. I have heard nothing like it since and coundn't obtain the above mentioned CD's. The CD is a 1995 Island production by Joe Galdo & Frank Natale. This CD would be perfect for an intamate loud party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
