Pepper and the rock god!

Pepper Martin sees ghosts. That can be a real problem since she works for a graveyard as a tour guide. When her car gets a flat in front of the Rock Hall of Fame, she caves in. She asks Damon what he wants, and it is not what she expected. Damon want fellow band member vinnie to stop writing songs under the assumption of Damon. He is channeling Damon. Pepper confronts Vinnie and he is contrite. He vows to give up the black magic, and maybe Damon can be put to rest. Vinnie is killed the next day by someone mysteriously and Pepper enlists the aid of Ghost busters to get a Voice recording of vinnie from the dead. More bizarre things start to happen and Pepperis in the big mix not the mention falling in love with the dead rocker's ghost. Talk about complicated. Good cosy mystery, 5 star!

pepper at it again

I really enjoy this series...Pepper Martin is a character. I am surprised no one has developed a series based on her character. Very enjoyable read, looking forward to the next series of Pepper Martin investigations.

Enchanting Reviews: Tombs Of Endearment

TOMBS OF ENDEARMENT CASEY DANIELS Rating: 4 Enchantments Pepper Martin works as a tour guide in a Cleveland cemetery and moonlights as a private investigator-for the dead. Even though rock star Damon Curtis has been dead for nearly forty years, he's still convinced former band mate Vinnie Pallucci murdered him. He just needs Pepper's help to prove it. And he won't stop haunting her till she agrees to help him. When Pepper sees she can't shake Damon off, she reluctantly gives in and begins investigating his death. But when she finds Vinnie's dead body and strange things begin happening around the remaining band members, Pepper realizes she might be getting close to the truth-and closer to danger. I really enjoyed this book, the third in the Pepper Martin series. The paranormal element was strong and I loved the twist that Pepper not only sees dead people, but she works as a cemetery tour guide. The book was filled with lots of great scenes; I especially liked how Damon drew Pepper to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to convince her to help him. Filled with great characters and a mystery that keeps unraveling throughout the book everything combines to make "Tombs of Endearment" a definite have-to-read for paranormal mystery fans. Laughed myself silly

What a laugh Poor Pepper kissed by a ghost and finding out just what a dead kiss is like.I laughed till I cried as she tried to speak her way through this section.Casey Daniels has created a brilliant character in Pepper sassy and smart mouthed she breaths life into this genre. We know there will be more and each time Pepper reappears in a new tale something is added to her personality and her skills. She is a real gas just like Stephanie Plum the only thing missing is a gerbil.Worth reading if only to laugh out loud at great read.

Tombs of Endearment(Pepper Martin Mysteries)

It was a great read!! Pepper is a hoot! She has all the traits of the average woman going threw everyday problems, except of course seeing ghosts.I really like how at the end of each book there is the possibility of a sequel.
