Tokyo Mew Mew!!

I love how it came in really good package and it's like brand new. I remember reading this back in middle school and high school. And now I'm hoping my kids will like them as well. If not. Well I know i LOVE them :D

Kawaii!

This manga simply blew me away; picked me up off of my feet and flew me to Neverland...only instead of Peter Pan, we meet five adorable girls! This is definately a girlie-manga, with lots of pink and love connections. The characters are to die for, and the way that Mia Ikumi slowly draws you in towards her work just compells me! If you are into deep, flowing story lines, then this manga is most definately not for you. If you enjoyed Sailor Moon or Magic Knight Rayearth, you will definately enjoy this work, for it has the same elements; magical girls, love, super powers, cute costumes, etc... If you enjoy light, happy reads, then this series is for you! But I do have a WARNING for you! Every manga ends with a cliff-hanger, so you will have to buy all seven books to see the end! I do tell you this, it is money well worth spending, and the lesson taught will stick with you even in your everyday life. Definately a fun read!

Really Cool

I requested this book for Chritmas because people were calling it " The New Sailor Moon Series." I love the characters and the whole story line. I must say that this is a really good series if your into stuff like Sailor Moon!

Tokyo Mew Mew

I don't generally go for manga with an absolute *overload* of cuteness. However, I had heard of Tokyo Mew Mew and really wanted to read it. So one day, I bought it. Tokyo Mew Mew some may say is a copy of Sailormoon. But there are several differences. The idea of merging endangered species with humans to fight aliens is interesting--the endangered species thing is something new. TMM is quite cute--that's for sure. Ichigo (which means strawberry) is the main character, a cat-girl. Her comrades are called Mint, Lettuce, Pudding, and Zakuro. This manga is recommended for people who like mahou shoujo and anyone who can withstand tons of cute-ness. I liked it, for sure.

An awsome shoujo manga!! (Kawaii!!)

First off, Tokyo Mew Mew is a magical girl manga that is just DRENCHED in cuteness. Unfortunately, that probably means that most boys won't be interested in reading it. However, for the people that do read Tokyo Mew Mew, this is an awsome series with loads of cute characters!I've heard that Tokyo Mew Mew has been called "The New Sailor Moon" but I don't know how similar the two series are (I've never read any Sailor Moon manga or seen the series).Although in volume one, so many characters are introduced (The 5 girls all appear in the first chapter) that the characterization is just a teeny bit shallow at this point. However, I'm sure that they will have time to fully develop as the series progresses...In short, Tokyo Mew Mew is a sweet and addicting manga where you'll love most of all of the characters! It's wonderful that Tokyopop has this in right-to-left format! This is one candy pop shoujo series that will leave you meowing for more!

A great shoujo manga for all ages!

I have always wanted to watch the anime "Tokyo Mew Mew" I was more than happy when I bought the first volume of the manga. It may not be the anime, but it's just as good. The artwork is beautiful, and the English translation is very good. The story is about an 11-year-old girl named Ichigo, who is on a date with her crush at the exhibition, and then something like an earthquake happens. Ichigio soon finds weird things happening to her like-when she falls she lands on her feet, cat ears and a tail popping up out of no where, and she suddenly starts having an appetite for fish. She finds out that she was chosen to be part of the "Mew Project", along with four other girls-Mint, Lettuce, Pudding, and Zakuro. (Pudding and Zakuro will be introduced in volume 2)I find this manga to be quite sweet, and cute. If you like cute and sweet shoujos, then you should definitely give "Tokyo Mew Mew" a look!
