Looking For the Right One

Ebony can best be described as a strong, black woman. She knows exactly what she wants and goes after it. A CEO of a billion dollar company, she works 12-14 hours on Saturdays and Sundays if necessary. She feels like her business partner and best friend, Kendall, should do the same. Kendall is happily married and wants to spend as much time with her husband as possible. Opal and Kendall are constantly telling Ebony that she needs to let loose a little more. Xavier is a fine, strong brother, the type that every woman dreams of. He's a guidance counselor and a home economics teacher involved in church. He's looking for Ms. Right, one who is not bossy, and doesn't use her sex appeal to try to get a man. Xavier doesn't want to be used as a doormat. At a church function when Ebony and Xavier meet, he knows that she is nothing but trouble and wants nothing to do with her. However, Ebony wants Xavier on her terms and is confident that he will not be able to resist her. Yet in still, the strong man that he is does; needless to say she is shocked. Will Ebony be able to get Xavier to see things her way? `The Trouble With Luv' written by Pamela Yaye is the first book that I've read by this author. While it does start a little slower than my normal pace, I was very pleased with the read. `The Trouble With Luv' quickly falls into a must read page turner that I highly recommend to all. Best of luck, Pamela! Reviewed by: Carmen

The Trouble with Luv Indeed!

Xavier Reed misjudged Ebony Garrett from the first time they met. He judged the book by the cover and just when he finally saw the true Ebony, he again judged her unfairly because his twin sister and Ebony had a run years ago. He took what his sister said to heart and when he realized he was wrong and she admitted that she was wrong he still almost lost the one woman that was his soul mate. I won't be a spoiler and go into more details so you will have to read it to get the whole story. Great read!
