Kinda Freaky

I read this book a few years ago, and afterwards it went on my bookshelf. Being in highschool now my room had grown into a mess of books, papers, and other miscellaneous objects over the years. In the process of cleaning it, i came across this book. I decided to read it again. I enjoyed the book even more now! The foreshadowing in it is easier to pick up at this age. It's slighty bizarre that in this book a bombing has taken place and the protagonist suspects someone from an Islamic Middle-Eastern country. So many of the points stated in the book foreshadowed September 11th. Despite the eeriness of it, The Terrorist is a decent, enticing, quick read.

One Word...Great!

I didn't know what to expect when I picked this up from the library, but what I found was a surprisingly good story about a girl trying to solve the mystery of her younger brother's murder. The death changes her family's life drastically, and Laura warily tries to find a friend to comfort her as she weeds through suspects and tries to pull her life back together. I found the end unsatisfying, but the story is exciting and may even bring you to tears.

Very Good Book, Thrilling!

This is an incredibly good book! It is one of my favorites! However, if you are nightmare prone, this is not a good book for you. I admit, it does have a few racist parts, and I don't like that, but the plot makes up for it. I really reccomend this book to kids in fifth grade or up. The plot has a lot to do with world issues and can be very confusing to someone younger! My compliments to the author!

The Terrorist

The Terrorist Carolyn B. Cooney Laura and her family moved to London thinking it would be a nice place to live. They were wrong. Her brother Billy was known all over town. Even Laura's friends knew him. When Billy was killed in the subway, Laura's life became confusing and when her friend asked for Billy's passport so she could fly to America things get out of hand. All Laura cared about was getting revenge on the people that killed Billy. Everyone was a suspect to her including her friends and family. Maybe she was right. Perhaps it was one of her friends or family. Read this book to find out. This book picks up momentum as you read further into the book. It was an easy read, but a great book. I enjoyed reading it and I hope you will to.

Great book that keeps ya on the edge of you're seat

I loved this book. It had the most interesting people. I was hooked after I had read just the back. I suggest that any one that loves action and mystery read this book. The ending will have you wondering even after you're done.
