I bought this book hoping for some basic tips and techniques to get me started on the path of storytelling to preschoolers andelementary age children. Margaret Read MacDonald offers that andmuch more. This professional storyteller, author and children'slibrarian brings a wealth of knowledge by way of a PhD in folklore and more than 35 years of storytelling experience tothe fore in this engaging, highly readable book. This tiny volume is packed with encyclopedic-like wisdom.
