Heart-warming and life-affirming

If you've ever adopted a rescue dog, loved a dog, or spent a life with a dog, this book is a must-have for your personal library. It is written from the perspective of a veterinarian who views animals (her clients) from a truly holistic standpoint, intertwined with the lives of humans as caretakers. The only drawback was trying to read through my tears. A really special book.
