This is the book my veternarian reaches for when looking for answers.

What a nice resource! I love that it covers so many different species. As a pet parent of 4 cats ( two special needs and one senior) this manual helps us understand their needs better. With longer wait times to see professional care... it really helps to self educate to compensate for lack of available veternarians. It also goes into great detail on farm animals. You cannot go wrong buying this book. I look forward to getting the newest edition.
