Great supplement

I used this book, along with the other in the series, as a supplement during the year with my gifted 5th graders. The lessons are detailed, and teacher instructions are clear. Many of the lessons will take a few days, but will surely keep the kids interested.

Incorporating Real World Activities into Middle School Class

I am eager to use this activity workbook in my 8th grade class. There are over 20 activities with a teacher's page and student blackline masters for each. The teacher's page includes teaching suggestions, standards, and answer keys. I like that this includes a good variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, football, car racing, Olympics. I plan to use the activities that my students are most interested in. Since the activities cover a variety of content and process standards, an activity can be incorporated at different points throughout the year.
