Must have for Adult Children

I have had the pleasure of using this book with fellow ACAs on separate occasions to prepare for confrontation (meaning to communicate what I needed in an assertive manner). As an Adult Child, I needed help learning to be assertive. It pained me to struggle with this. Fortunately, communicating assertively is a skill and this book will give you the practice you need to learn and strengthen this skill. It can be used alone or with another. I think is better practiced with someone else for feedback and brainstorming ways to execute the techniques in this book. This book takes basic communication skills discussed in the text book that this workbook is designed to accompany, and give plenty of practice materials. Must buy the text LifeSkills. It teaches one how to communicate Assertively and Confidently through progressive practice scenarios. I love this book and recommend not only for Adult Children, but anyone who wants to learn effective Assertive Communication.
