Yes, there's action and drama yet it's the insight and depth explored in the characters that makes Barry Eisler's books a rarity-in this story, multiple characters reacting in their disparate ways.

Spooks Killers Snipers in the Service of Good

As always Mr. Eisler brings top form to a story that is both compelling and, as usual a darn good read. Attention to detail, thorough research, engaging characters who stay the course with their personality, methods, and thought/action processes. These are stone cold killers at the Top of their game is the service of GOOD. Once you start down this path you will be compelled to finish! If you like Ted Bell,John Sandford, Robert Crais, David Baldacci,Steven Hunter (the Shooter, Bob Lee Swaggert),I think you will like this writer, and want to go back to the first Rain novels.
