Fantastic Pre-Existence Thriller!!!!

Prologue: The Brothers Vol. I The Great and Terrible: by Chris Stewart I had heard of this book when it first came out, but it wasn't until the last one came out that I needed to see what all the excitement was. This first in a series is totally amazing, and Chris is a master story teller in weaving the story of the war in heaven. This novel simply tells the story of Ammon, Luke, Sam and their younger sister Elizabeth and their fighting to save their brothers, who are undecided on the choices they make, as their choices will set their destiny. I was amazed at how spiritual this story was and Chris makes you really think about our pre-mortal days and how it can impact our mortal lives. Even though this is a quick read, the eternal perspectives are mind-boggling!!!! If you haven't read this nail-biter (I don't bite them anymore) do read it.

Terrific.

Well written given it is a subject that is total speculation. Kept me turning the pages as fast as I could. Highly recommended to anyone.

Fantastic book for LDS

This book brought to life the doctrine of our Pre-Mortal existence. I loved it so much.

This book is great

Once I started reading this I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed it and I thought that it had a good overally message. There are moment in this book where there are things that are said that I feel are really important. I am not going to write down what they are because I don't want to spoil it. I just want to say that in the end this book made me want to try harder to lead a better life. I know that I can but sometime the temptations that Satan offers seem so much more inviting. The author of this novel is LDS but this novel isn't just for LDS people, it is for everyone and that is exactly who I recommend it to. I have already ordered the next two books and am very excited about them.

Simply Great not terrible

I read this book on a whim. I walked past it and something made me buy it. There are few books that I have read (and there have been many) that have ever effected me to the point of tears but this one did in the begining and the end. It uses similarities of this life to help explain the spirit world before we came to this earth. It isn't a doctrinal book but if you are looking for a good alternative book to read without all the blood and gore or "romance" then this is a definate good choice. Happy Reading!
