A Mind Stretcher!

Dr Schwartz provides compelling "scientific" evidence for the presence of a comprehensively preeminent "Higher Power" whose nature is loving. The book presents fascinating observations of the results of highly skilled research methods presented in simple terms that overcome the most obstinate skepticism and stretch the mind. This is my first "review"...

Reading some of the reviews on some of the books, it never ceases to amaze me how "reviews" are typically being generated by mostly "opinionated" readers. You can almost observe the undisciplined "mind" to react like a "knee-jerk reaction". When it hits a "nerve", very few choose to "learn" rather they "react" (histrionically). ======================================== I found the book refreshing compared to some of the "in the box" kind of reading material. I personally know individuals who prefer "in the box" type of journalism like Lee Strobel's "Case for Faith" book. It's like drinking "decaf". I enjoy a bit of stimulation once in a while. I found this book stimulating. Peace

TOUGH SUBJECT - EXCELLENT TREATMENT

One sure way to start a fiery debate or a street-brawl argument is to mention God and science in the same sentence. Schwartz approaches this wicked combination of concepts with cunning and philsophic agility. He has chosen the perfect co-writer in William Simon. Simon brings to the table his uncanny ability for flushing out difficult stories with a rare visceral penache. Those looking for a definitive pat answer to THE QUESTION will have to look elsewhere. However, Schwartz and Simon present the means to examine this age-old conundrum through a new prism. Their success allows us to, once-again, have the freedom to scratch our collective heads for another millenneum or so.

G.O.D. is an adventure

Some few people have no fear of talking, writing or thinking about God...and this fine book by a man whose mind and heart are joined in research at a major University inspires all readers to think about a subject that others would have you ignore.
