Lovely Photographs

This slim book starts off with romantic-style porches featuring Greek revival, Italianate, and gothic revival porches. The color photos show off the white railings, the arches, and pillars while lush plantings and rocking chairs invite lounging. Each section includes 3 pages describing that style of porch and the appropriate accessories for it. That is followed by pages of glossy pictures and their brief captions. Here are the categories: *Welcoming Porches of the Romantic-Style Home *Gracious Victorian Verandas and Conservatories *Rustic and Country-Style Porches *Arts and Crafts and Contemporary Porches and Sunrooms I really enjoyed browsing through it and returned to it several times. If you are thinking of adding some outdoor living space to your home, this gives you a chance to see what appeals to you. I wish it were longer than 72 pages.
