Great book

I love the book, however, I would have given it a lower rating in quality because several pages are no longer attached to the binding. Other than that the book is in good shape. This rating does not reflect the content because it is a very interesting story.

"Forgetting Room" by Nick Bantock

This book is like a breath of fresh air!!! It has a magic in a very heart felt story and its intriguing surrealistic symbolism. Aesthetically it is quite outstanding and made even more so in the intimate format of the book. I am now very eager to visit the small Spanish town of Ronda! I am sorry that it has taken me so long to discover the books of Nick Bantock, which I might add I am now collecting. As an artist I particularly identify with the author's work and have purchased additional copies of "The Forgetting Room" to share with others. The perfect word to discribe this book is that it is a treasure in its total sum of aesthetic worth and the revelation of the story!

Not only does the author get you hooked in helping him solve a mystery, but he takes the reader on a journey of self-discovery that resonated with this reader. The art work,text and format of the book are all of a piece to make you realize the possibilities in life and what we have sometimes forgotten. I cannot wait to read more of this wonderful, insightful, mystical author!

I am drawn into the characther's feeling and struggle through a series riddles that will guide him to his grandfather's past and his future. Each riddle is involving the reader to think with the character. When I started to read this book, I cannot put it down at all. (End up staying up until 4 am!)
