Ending twist

This was a good read. Thought I had the book figured out till I got to the end and was shocked how wrong I was. Good murder mystery for those who enjoy them

Creepy! Love it!

I absolutely loved The School for Dangerous Girls. It was really really creepy, and when I finished it, I was thankful my high school experience wasn't like that AT ALL. However, there was a teacher in that book that reminded me of the total evil that was my chemistry teacher. I suspect that Mr. Schrefer also had evil teachers in high school, which is why that teacher was written so well. Now...how much do I love the title of this book? And the cover? But most of all, the plot, especially the entire theme of having to come to terms with the fact that your adored sibling, the one you look up to, may not be as awesome as you think she is?

Jaw dropping

This book is deadly. To your free time. I skipped a couple assignemnts to read this one, and man. It's really good. I already knew Schrefer was a good writer, but this book is lean and fast, nothing wasted or unnecessary. And the ending--usually I think I have stuff figured out. But I didn't. I really, really didn't. This is a book to catch.

Exciting!

Rating: 4.5 The Deadly Sister was an exceptionally well-written thriller with an intensive plot. The detailed characteristics made it easy to distinguish traits between the sisters. Abby was a mature and caring sister. While, Maya was a drop-out, drug user who always stirred trouble. Throughout Abby's life she covered up for her sister mistakes with her quick witted actions. However, not all secrets could be hidden. Now, Maya was faced with harsh accusations of being a murderer. Abby refused to believe her sister had anything to do with her tutor's death and started her own trail of research. The mystery and suspense brought a great balance to the story. Around the middle of the book, I started figuring out a few things. But, I was definitely not expecting how Eliot concluded the book! The ending was shockingly twisted and memorable. I really enjoyed the creativity and character development. Overall, this thriller had all the right elements for an interesting and excited read. I look forward to reading more works by Eliot since I enjoyed his writing style.
