The desing of the book is aligned with the American Society for Quality body of knowledge for the Cerified Quality Manager Exam .The supplemental section contains sample test questions similar to those on the actual exam. This book cover the following issues: Historical prespectives,key concepts and terminology, benefits associated with the application of key concepts and quality management principles, best practices, and barriers to success. This handbook is divided in seven parts: Leadership, Strategy development and deployment, quality management tools, Customer focused organizations, Supplier performance, Management and Training/Development.This handbook is a valuable resource for professionals how want to understand the integration of quality management in business organizations and how these and other processes for organizational improvement are interrelated.

Good Reference Book

The book comes with all the information that is needed to prepare for the Certification. However it does not provide with specific examples as to how to use all the information. I would say this is a book to keep in the book shelf because it contains a lot of information: from Organizational Leadership, Team Development, Process Management, Quality Management Tools, Supplier Management and all necessary information needed to be known by a Certified Quality Manager. Lots of theoretical knowledge is portrayed on this book.
