Each of them is a precious gem with many facets to reveal its inner light and meaning. Hallerman's vivid imagination expands into poetic thought expressed with word so carefully selected that when we meet them on a page, we can share the experience. "The lily opens into brown velvet glove tips erect, its speckled yellow silk folded under, opening all the way like a woman whose eyes are closed in fantasy" (from "The Woman in the Magic Show." This book is perfect.
