Delightful Word Play

This book was one of my favorites as a child, providing an introduction to the world of idioms and puns. As an English teacher, I collect children's books--only the best. Recently I took a stack of children's books with me when I babysat five children. This was the first book they wanted to read. Four of the five (from age 4 to 10) crowded around me to hear the stories. Only the two year old was not drawn into the stories. Amelia Bedelia is one of their favorite characters as well.
