This book may save your life

About ten years ago, I was taking 200units of insulin per day. I was following everything my diabetes dr told me to do: eat more whole grain, don't eat any fat, never touch fruit, eat only 1800cal/day and exercising 90minutes of high intensity cardio every day. I was getting sicker and sicker and needing more and more insulin, actos, victoza etc, etc. I knew there was a huge problem with the "advice" I had been given, since I had been militant about following it. I saw this book on line and ordered it. It is easy to read, provides explanations as to why our bodies work the way they do and a plan that truly can return your health to you. This is not a fad or a different pill or shot, it is a different life path. I lost 100#, stopped all diabetic meds, and exercise at a comfortable level. I think everyone should get this book and give copies to their friends. Diabetes has become an epidemic in my lifetime and that is unnatural and has nothing to do with genetics, it has everything to do with what we are eating. If you want to feel better and get rid of the insulin or other meds that are killing you, buy this book and just give it a try. You can always go back to the shots and pills if you miss them. The current "system" is an epic fail! Here is the solution! I did not use the recipes, instead I made my own and my journey has evolved into a deep study of nutrition. The next book I got was The Virgin Diet, which taught me which foods I had become sensitized to and how to eliminate them. I highly recommend both, but I would start with The 30 Day Cure and work with that first and then The Virgin Diet just to ease in to these changes but there is no caveat to doing both at once, it just might be too restrictive all at once.

A Miracle for Life

I truly wish the content of this book could be taught in schools!!! It has changed my life. Actually, SAVED my life. I understand there were some problems with the publisher and the referenced website disappeared. Nontheless, this book has the cure! Do not believe the critics. It works!!! And the content is extremely well organized and well researched. I wish everyone reading this can get this book.
