Tea at Glenbrooke

My husband and I were on vacation when I found this book in a little cottage style gift shop. I had not read Ms. Gunn's fiction stories, so had no expectations in that aspect when I bought it. It is a beautifully illustrated book with sweet, heartwarming short stories. I have enjoyed this book for at least 5 years and it still brings a smile whenever I spot it on my shelf. I place it right up there with the tea books written by Emilie Barnes.

A wonderful book

This attractive little book is so wonderfully eclectic! It represents the author's idea of what it's like when women come together over a cup of tea. Well, as a fan of tea and tearooms, I can tell you that tea brings this out in all of us!Anyway, this book is a wonderful collection of poems, recipes, and touching musings and anecdotes. All of this is complemented by the charming watercolor illustrations by Susan Mink Colclough. This is a wonderful book, one that you should read outside, on a sunny day, with a cup of Earl Grey in your hand!
