Not really a bible, but a good start

This book is designed for those who want to understand TCP/IP. It explains the basics about TCP/IP, IP addresses, binary notation and operations, the OSI model and protocols that work in each layer of the OSI model. It gives explanations about advanced TCP/IP features and tools, but it's not a step-by-step guide about them or an advanced manual useful for advanced implementations (600 pages are not enough). If you are looking for your first TCP/IP book, this is for you, but advanced users must find something else.

Excellent Book

Anyone interested in Network+ Certification needs this book. This books explains TCP/IP in great detail. Read this book first, then Michael Meyers Network+ All in One Exam Guide, then the Network+ Exam should be quite easy.
