Adult fiction at work

I read the review by the guy who was so disdainful of the author turning into a romance or romantic suspense writer (ala Catherine Coulter) and so had to write a review myself. There is nothing out there in the literary world that says mystery/suspense/thriller writers are any more literary or high brow than those who dapple in romance so cut the bleep out about romance themes, will ya? I'm reading this book right now and find it to be very well written adult fiction with its characterizations, its plot and its action - This is my 1st Parker book but I intend to read more and highly recommend this one for its historic content, its suspense and action and - YES, for its romantic elements. Check out - Blind Spot - Romantic Suspense with environmental theme

fantastic

i love gail and anthony. please put them back together, and please hurry and write a new book.

Parker Gets Better And Better!

Just when I thought Barbara Parker couldn't get any better, she writes this book! ALthough I loved Suspicion of Innocence and Suspicion of Guilt, this book has kept me hooked since page one! I read this book in three days (and yes, I do work and have a life!) I just looked forward to sitting down at night to read this book! It focuses more on the relationship of Anthony and Gail, but that's what makes it so good! Not too much romance and there's a good mix of mystery and suspense as well. Parker gets better every time! It is a fantastic read! Treat yourself and buy this book!

Welcome back Gail and Anthony.

I am so glad this author decided to go back to writing about Gail and Anthony, the two lawyers she introduced several years ago. I like Parker's style of writing: she keeps the suspense going full speed yet manages to squeeze in a little romance - not too much, but just enough to keep it interesting. I hope she will continue with this series. Dorothy Owen, Richmond, Va.
