Great

It was great! I love Catherine Anderson! I've read all the Kendrick/Coulter and now Harrigan books and I loved them all! Her knowlege of equines is amazing and her story of love and scandal is marvelous!

SUN KISSED

I HOPE EVERY ONE WOULD READ THIS WHOLE SERIES. EXCELLENT. START WITH "PHANTOM WALTZ" THERES 7 IN THE SERIES.

Love It

Haven't read a Catherine Anderson book that I didn't like. This Coulter series is one of the best that I've read in a long time. Most series books hardly refer to the past characters. I want more!!!!

Sun Kissed

I loved Sun Kissed as much as I loved all of Catherine Anderson's other books. It made me laugh and cry. It lives up to the Catherine Anderson reputation of wonderfully entertaining and thought provoking books. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I disagree that religion was a dominating factor in Sun Kissed. I am convert to Catholicism, but though I strongly believe in my religion, I believe that each person has a right to worship or not to worship as they wish. I thought that the book was great and that the characters were true to life and endearing. I credit Catherine Anderson with putting up front some of the personal struggles that not only Catholics, but all people (religious or not) go through. Not every woman that stays in an abusive relationship is Catholic, nor does the Catholic church expect abused women to stay in an abusive relationship. Anyone who thinks this is wrong! Yes, there is Catholic guilt, but there is also guilt in protestant, jewish and muslim religions, Catholic do not have an exclusive right to guilt. The Catholic church has it "rules" but so do all other religions and in most cases they are the same. Why is faith so intimidating to some people? We all have a right to believe or not to believe. What we do not have a right to do it to criticize someone elses beliefs or non-beliefs. Since when have religious beliefs become a "taboo"? Where has our value system gone?

Perfect!

This is the kind of heartwarming, funny, romantic, endearing story I have come to expect from one of my all time favorite authors - Catherine Anderson. Tucker was such a sweetie and Samantha was his perfect match. I was not bothered by the religious/Catholic aspect of the story. In fact, given Samantha's character, it was appropriate. Being Catholic myself, with family members who had stopped practicing and went back to it, I smiled and laughed when the Coulters were all being swayed to return by their mother. I think CA didn't shove it down the readers' throats, but instead treated it with just the right amount of humor and lightness, while keeping the integrity of Samantha's character's beliefs. I also disagree with the reviewer who thought there wasn't enough other Coulters in the story. Jake was great at the beginning and there was a lot of fun interaction between Tucker and Isaiah. The scene with Tucker asking for advice of his parents was hilarious. And I can't forget the scene with Jake's daughter and Tucker. That was pure Catherine Anderson magic. I am sorry the Coulters are done. They were all great. This one is not to be missed. Sun Kissed will go on my keeper shelf!
