Handbook for daily life

The Spiritual Laws of Life, by Harold Klemp, is a handy reference guide to the laws that govern the universes of God. It can help you make sense out of your life, and even begin to create a better, fuller, more enjoyable life for yourself. It goes way beyond 'what you sow, you shall reap." It is written in a way that allows you to take one law at a time, or flip open to a page at random and let the ECK (or Holy Spirit) show you what you need to work on. For more on how to work more consciously with Spirit, I recommend The Spiritual Exercises of Eck. Some of the laws that are covered include things like the law of karma, the law of love, the law of economy, the law of vibration, the law of plenty, and the law of change--among many others. Each one is practical and enlightening. Exploring their application is a great adventure. This book tells us (on p. 171) that "the spiritual laws are based on the Law of Love. They do not punish for the mere pleasure of inflicting pain. They do it to teach people a spiritual lesson, which is part of their entire education." For me, this is a handbook for daily living.

A clear and enlightening summation of spiritual law

For people who are new to the path of Eckankar, or those (on any spiritual path) who want a broader awareness of the spiritual laws that govern our universe, this book is a must-have. It is comprised of a compilation of excerpts from various Eckankar books and quotes from transcriptions of The Living ECK Master's talks at various ECK seminars. Another companion book that I would recommend is the Spiritual Laws of ECK, also by Harold Klemp.

The Spiritual Laws that explain The Reasons Why...

This is an excellent book to study in depth for finding out the reasons why for all kinds of things. I like to take one chapter at a time to focus on. In understanding these laws that are already at work in life can give one a greater chance for happiness and best results in all you do. For example, the chapter on "The Law of Non-Interference" has helped me understand years of turmoil in my family and how "The Law of Love" is the greatest one that underlies all the others. I really enjoy this book! I like the way it sometimes gives a practical example that can help give more understanding of these laws and how they work. A lot of things are really packed in here! There are 3 groupings of laws: Laws of Wisdom, Laws of Freedom, and Laws of Charity (the laws that bring Soul a greater capacity to love) with about 12 to 21 laws that are in each of these groups. If you want to understand life better, how to have a better life, how to find freedom, peace of mind, or if you're looking for a greater love in life, try this out. (I hope I'm not interfering :-)- A student of Life

I love this book!

This book is helping me spiritually more than any other right now. There are so many fine points made clear that help me see these laws at work in my own life. I've been telling all my friends about it, but the first printing sold out in just a few months!I also recommend his book How to Survive Spiritually in Our Times and Rachel Remen's Kitchen Table Wisdom.Klemp says we need to (1) be aware of these spiritual laws, (2) see them working in our own lives, and finally, (3) see how they actually are helping us. I think this third step is really knowing in the proof of my own experience that life is a good thing, or in other words, that God really loves us. For instance, he shows how karma is a good thing. This helps me to fall in love with something that most other teachings talk about with a bad taste in their mouth. And the law of economy, that everything we need is right nearby, that life makes the most of everything, so now I'm looking closer and more carefully at things and finding many more choices than before (is that a bit of spiritual freedom?). And the law of consciousness: I like how he says that all change is a measure of spiritual growth. Take that into contemplation! The ramifications are endless. He has a total of 50 spiritual laws, and I'm beginning to understand each of them. I love this book!
