Must have for int'l development professionals

This collection of articles from reknowned scholars and seasoned development practitioners is a fantastic look at the crucial role that social capital plays in making social and economic development projects effective and sustainable. For academics interested in the topic, it's also a great departure from the more macro theories presented by Putnam and Fukuyama in that it examines the implications of social capital at a community and even interpersonal level, offering rich, qualitative examples. Incredibly interesting, engaging, and practical.
