A must for electricians and engineers

If you have been using the 2005 NFPA 70 (NEC) code for a while, you are familiar with it and will often say "Oh, I know the answer to that" without looking it up. And you may be wrong. This book is large type and organized in the same way with the same exhibits as the 2008 code, but it contains only those items that have changed, making it much easier to find what you need. If you think you know the answer to that, see if it is in this book, if not, then you probably do. Two things that have changed and affect my designs are the fact that lighting and appliance panels are no longer seperately defined from power panels and therefore do not have the 42 pole limitation. Having a 1200A switchgear, switchboard, panelboard or ATS does not automatically require two opposing exits anymore- only if the equipment is more than 6 feet wide.

Review of SC's to the NEC 2008

Its a good book, well researched, but I wish it included every change that happened, not just the most photogenic. They whould have listed the changes that were not included in the book.
