Excellent book, easy to follow pics and directions

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. So much I have gifted 3 copies. Lots of projects and instructions are great. I've made many items from this book. You won't be disappointed.

Nice ideas and breaks down the pattern making process

I'm about to make the fleece vest for my daughter. I didn't think I'd like having to do all the measuring myself to make the pattern. It's really simple, tho. The vest is a gift and I didn't have dd here with me to take measurements from, so I've taken measurements from a ready made fleece garment. I also made the leprechaun baby booties and hat as a baby present. They are adorable, even if you don't make all the ribbon embellishments that they show. The booties came out fine. The hat seemed way too small, but I was just guessing at measurements, since that too is a gift. This even has a pattern for a fleece skirt. Don't think I would make that one, but mittens, scarves, shrug, jackets, vests, robe...all look great. Including the adorable baby stuff. Oh, and I can't forget the fleece PJ pants. There's alot here.

A perfect find for pattern haters

I've been frustrated with the way commercial patterns never, ever fit my body, and nothing bums me out more than buying a pattern only to spend all kinds of time and energy modifying it to look right. "Sew What! Fleece" breaks garment construction down to a matter of connecting the dots, and gives me hope that I can learn enough tricks to start skipping patterns altogether. Oh, and pssst...if you don't like fleece (not a big fan myself) these patterns and ideas work beautifully with your fabrics of choice.

Wearable and Workable!

I love the Sew What! Skirts book, but didn't think I'd be too interested in the fleece book. I was very suprised! In spite of the projects being made of fleece, everything is cute and wearable. Projects range from the very simple scarf to a peplum jacket. The book also includes a few baby and pet pattens. Just like the skirts book, the projects rely on making your own pattern based on a formula and your own measurements. The instructions are very clear and give you plenty of help when it comes to tweaking fit.

A highly recommended pick for any collection
