Forgive to Live

When I first came across the book, Seventy Times Seven, I thought I thought it was a math book and I remembered my seventh grade math teacher, Mr. Jackass (not his real name.) Ah, yes, he was a real pip. I hated that guy. And then I came to the realization that this wasn't a math book at all, but a book on forgiveness. Who knew? When the disciple asked Jesus how many times we should forgive someone who has wronged us, Jesus replied said, "Seventy times seven..." He did not literally imply to forgive someone 490 times, but to live in a state of continuous forgiveness. How do we do this? Well, "forgive" me for saying this, but you might have to read this excellent book to find out. But let's just say you need to forgive someone now and you can't wait for the UPS man to deliver your newly ordered book. This is what I suggest....allow yourself to get quiet, still, and centered as much as possible...breathe in and ou...in and out until you feel relaxed...and then call that person to mind...think about what they may have said, or did, and just look at it with as little emotion as possible and then allow Light and Love to enter into the picture until all there is, is Light and a feeling of Love and breathe that Love and Light in and out...in and out...until you feel all resentment and all anger moving out of your mind and your heart...and then say a little prayer for the person and for yourself. Remember forgiveness is not for others as much as it for ourselves. This is a wonderful book and will open your eyes to how powerful forgiveness really is. As for my seventh grade math teacher, I heard not too long ago that he moved to a Higher place. Yep, he currently lives in Ontario, Canada... Peace & Blessings, people

It will change your view on life

The title "the power of forgiveness" is perfect for this book. Describing real events and people. It underlines what Jesus said 2000 years ago and how powerful forgivness can really be.
