A must read for the American revolutionary

Every leftist should read this book. It's a great look at the history of the American leftist and the concessions they make with the bourgeois class whilst never truly advocating for revolution. It talks about how the fall of communism in the U.S. has more to do with settlers wanting their share of imperialist spoils rather than anything the cold war or Macarthyism has done. Even if you are not white, this book will make you cringe at your own praxis because it is influenced by settler ideology more than any American leftist would probably like to admit. There's a reason why this book is often mentioned as a must-read as I heard so many people say before I finally picked it up. It does take some careful reading. It's not as dense as some history books, but as history books go, some paragraphs may need repeat reads.
