This is an excellent book on the interconnectedness between prayer and Jesus Christ. Mother Teresa emphasizes our humanity to point out the need for prayer in the complicated mesh between the temporal life and eternal salvation. Essentially, Mother Teresa is saying that there can be no salvation without prayer and contemplation on a spiritual level. The Mother Teresa lead a simple life substantially in the service of the poor and needy. In many ways, Mother Teresa shunned worldly things in favor of spirituality. This work emphasizes her philosophy of life and the transitory steps necessary to reach an eternal salvation through the power of frequent prayer and Jesus Christ as an intermediary. The book is a worthy purchase for readers interested in the life and philosophy of Mother Teresa.
