Mesmerizing!

This is one of the most poetic science-fiction romances I've ever read. I loved the language, the seductive beauty of it! It's a gamut of emotions tinged with the truly surreal and bizarre and has stuck with me for years... especially the thing about the full moon.... But I won't spoil it for you: you'll have to read it through to see what I mean. The ending, for me, was a real surprise.

His Best Book Ever

When he wrote this book, he wrote a masterpiece!!! This was a book that I read over and over. Its a story of a boy and his first love with a evil obstacle in the way. A book with characters you will love and never forget. When you read this book, you will not forget it. You will want to go back read it again , and with a title that makes you think of it each time you tell someone , " See You Later!".

A masterpiece!

Not only is this Pike's best book, but it is also my favorite novel of all time. From the opening page, I feel that I can relate to Mark as much as I can relate to myself. Few books can be described as being beautiful but this book really can! I'm currently reading it for the 5th time. If you only read one Pike book, read this one. It is is perfect for fans of every genre imaginable. Now, if only someone would produce a movie of this book...

Very Moving

I'm not sure how, but Pike somehow manages to touch my heart with this book. After all, Mark is not someone that I normally would feel for, and I'm about as emotional as a stone. The stuff about him being sorry for himself, it kinds of gets to me. I really felt sorry for him and admired him for being able to conquer it at the end. Vincent, too, was a cool character, though I don't see that type in Pike's books very often. One that comes to mind is Neil's ghost in Chain Letter 2. Anyway, this is a great book and I'd put it right up there with Remember Me 1, 2 & 3. Very touching.

PIKE'S BEST EVER!

I love Christopher Pike, and in my opinion this is his best book ever. In it, Pike shows off his great sense of humor (a quality of his writing so often overlooked) and his ability to develop complex characters that you truly care for, along with an amazing plot. Although complicated, the plot is not difficult to understand once you get into it. It is brilliant and unpredictable, and you won't be able to put this book down. But the main reason I prefer this book over all of Pike's other masterpieces is the characters. It's told from the perspective of Mark Forum, a senior in high school who programs computer games. Mark has a brilliant sense of humor, he's witty and smart. He feels like a real person, someone you'd know and care about. The other characters aren't developed quite as well, because they're all seen from Mark's perspective, but all are excelent. The ending of this book was one of the best I've ever read. It was sad but also happy, and it really makes you think. I'd recommend this book to anyone, fans of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, teen novels, whatever. Everyone should read this book
