"SEXY, SENSUAL, AND HEART WARMING'

Oh my gosh!!! Was this hot or what! Ok, I know this story had back to back sex and Sam and Alex fall unbelievably in love within a week. However, SJ put this together so well that is was quite believable for them to fall in love in such short time. I mean the love making scenes were excellent and the Hero (Sam) and Heroine (Alex) have great chemistry from beginning to end. I loved their relationship. I read this book from cover to cover non-stop... except for when I took quite a few breaks for cold showers.....Yeah, it's just that hot. There is a scene on page 282 that just really blew me away. I really enjoyed this book.

If you never read Susan Johnson books,pick this one up. I could not put this book down. It was a enjoyable book. I love how she put the two independent characters together. Each was afraid of love and each fear how quickly their attraction was to each other. I love how Susan Johnson, use the outside characters, ie. the love shruck artist, the interfering family members to keep the 2 characters away from each other. All the outside characters kept reminding her, the viscount will never be faithful.I love how Susan used the history at that time period and how women was view has a independent and self-knowledge women who did not need a men for guidence.If you are a fan go out and purchase this book!!

Worry no more. SJ's still got it! She hasn't lost her touch. I devoured this book in 24 hours. If you're a SJ fan, you'll love this book. If you like character driven books full of SJ's usual trademarks such as clever sexual banter and hot & sweaty lovemaking, then this book is for you.Thank goodness there's no kidnapping, murder plots, or adventures in the high seas to pad this love story. That leaves more room for us to get to know Sam and Alex(the heroine). SJ is the Queen of quick & snappy adult comebacks and she burns up the pages with them. And what woman doesn't want to read a book about a man bent on pursuing the woman of his desires? If that's not romantic...p.s., Unlike some books that uses those tiny tiny letters so you have to squint to read, this book uses a bigger (font)print so it's much easier to read.
