A long journey to love

I know there are many people that didn't like this book. But I really enjoy it from beginning to end. The two main character roland and Daria develop friendship from the beginning which is refreshing. I did find the book frustrating because the hero spent so much time believing a lie and it's not until the end when he realize it was a misunderstanding. Unlike Coulter's other hero (from song series), this hero is not overally cruel. I also like the pace of the story where the love scenes are evenly spread out so you get to enjoy it throughout. It's a great read, the book will make you fall in love with the characters, hurt for them, laugh with them and root for a happy ending.

Secret Song

This is the last and perhaps the best book in the medieval quartet. It's the story of Roland de Tournay and Daria of Fortescue. This book kept me engrossed from the very first page. There are real secrets lie in wait for your discovery. I kept reading it and simply couldn't put it down. The story is captivating and the plot is exciting and remains mysterious until the very last pages. Throughout the book before the plot turns out I felt sorry for Daria for Roland sees her as a liar and she just can't prove herself not one. Ms.Coulter did a good job in describing the love scenes and there are such scenes every once in a while. I loved to meet the characters from the previous books also.

Medevil Reader Fan

This is a must read for anyone who loves medevil. Roland and Daria will make you laugh and cry. I could not put the book down for this book keeps you on edge; from kidnapping, escaping across Wales, etc. This is a book that you can easily re-read again and again.

A page turner till the end!

I thought this was one of Coulter's best works. The story between Roland and Daria causes the reader to laugh, cry, and fall in love with the two characters. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves stories from medieval England.

This was the best romance book I have ever read.<br>

I must admit that I read this before I read the previous books in the trilogy. The love struggle between Roland and Daria was hilarious, heart renching, yet hilarious as well. I have become a big fan of Mrs. Coulter's work and I offer nothing but applause to her fabulous creations. I can't wait for the next novel!
