Excellent textbook on Literacy Across the Curriculum

This is a great textbook as it gives many practical suggestions on increasing literacy skills of students in all content areas. With so many of our youth today reading below grade level, this text provides a coherent, immediately applicable way to give students access to and an understanding of reading materials regardless of whether they learn best through physical activity, experiences in nature, music performance, quantitative analysis, or any other learning style.

Textbooks

I am using this text for a graduate level class I am teaching about reading in the content area. It seems to be a very large overview of all of the issues facing secondary content area teachers.
