Really captures the feel of old San Mateo

San Mateo has a fascinating history and this book helps new and long term residents understand the historical place we live. The photos document the bygone era of San Mateo's early days. I have given this book to visitors and neighbors. It's a favorite coffee table book and cherished trip memento. With the photos of famous parties and events, San Mateo could really be considered the Paris of the Peninsula.
