An oldie but a goodie!

Although long out of print, this remains one of my personal favorites, and is well worth buying secondhand. Recipes are well-tested, tried-and-true, and usually preceded by a brief description of what makes them so special. And everything I've tried has been wonderful. The author was a cooking teacher, and the forward was written by James Beard. A real treasure ... Don't miss it.
