A beautiful memoir

I truly loved reading this memoir of a young American boy who spent most of his childhood summers in Naples, Italy visiting family. The story of his Jewish heritage, the warmth of his grandparents love, the interaction with the townspeople (especially Pasquale) and so much more, makes this book such an enjoyable read. The fact that Robert Zweig could recount events, conversations, and people, with such vividness made me aware that our children absorb so much more than we imagine they do. Even the simplest thing seems grand in their eyes. Wonderful story!
