A Must Have for All Christian Parents/Grandparents/Teachers!

"QUESTIONS from little hearts by Kathleen Long Bostrom and illustrated by Elena Kucharik (illustrator for the popular 80's CareBears) is perfect to have on hand for those times when your young child has a theological question you're looking for just the right answer on. A combination of four Little Blessings books, broken down in to four sections, these 288 pages will well equip you for any question your child might pose about God, prayer, angels, and Heaven. Parents will relish finding having a kid friendly answer guide at their fingertips. Better yet, you won't feel like you're just doling out uninformed or unsubstantiated information either. With a handy dandy Biblical reference guide at the end of each section, parents will be able to quickly follow up with Biblical support on each answer the previous poetic response from God gave. In this way you'll be able to show your child how God's answers can truly be found in His Word, and you'll likely be laying a foundation to teach them to go to the Word in the future when they have a question for God that they just can't seem to understand themselves. This is a lifelong lesson every Christian should be taught." To read this review in its entirity, please visit www.readysetreadreviews.blogspot.com.

Wonderful Gift of Reading for Little Ones

Don't you love the innocence of little children, when they ask about God - many times simple yet still, so deep? One of our younger girls asked me recently if our stillborn daughter is a "real angel" in heaven. Questions from Little Hearts by Kathleen Long Bostrom, is such a delightful book with whimsical rhyming prose to quickly capture and keep children's attention. After giving in to "read it again, mama" my little ones knew what some of the rhyming words would be, "reading" along with me in unison. And our question on angels was even answered! Are there many angels, or only a few? When I go to heaven, can I be one too? Just how many are there? What is the amount? Thousand and millions - too many to count! ~ ~ ~ Now, maybe you think it would be lots of fun To be a real angel when this life is done. We won't become angels, but that is OK. We'll all be together in heaven someday. This book is perfect for young little ones. A few pages may be just enough for a quiet time before bed, or a whole chapter book. Perhaps it would be perfect to keep at grandma's house for special reading time. You might find this the ideal book for little ones to carry to church to keep them quiet during a service. With having young ones myself who love this book, I highly recommend it!

Beautifully written truths for little ones.

Questions from Little Hearts is the kind of book I wish I had when the kids were smaller. The pictures are beautiful, the rhyming text is delightful, and the questions are just the sort that toddlers and young children are constantly asking. There are four sections to this book, each one answering important questions about the nature of God, Heaven, prayer, and angels. The questions are asked, then answered, in rhyming text. At the end of each section, the questions are answered again, this time with Scripture verses explaining where the answers are found in the Bible. Here's a sample from the section on Heaven: "I know God loves me. Of this there's no doubt. But what about heaven? What's that all about?.... (snip) All questions have answers, but some you won't learn Till God says it's time for his Son to return. Your questions are good ones, so let's dive right in And see what the Bible says. Ready? Begin! Though heaven's a place that you can't see from here, It says in the Bible that heaven is near. You don't need to know how to fly or to swim. The way is with Jesus, believing in Him." The author then goes on to expound on what we do know about heaven, all told in language that small children will readily understand. This is a perfect book to read with your young ones, and should lead to some great discussions.
