This "Time" was the best so far.

"A Prisoner of Time" was much-much better than "For All Time" and surpassed "Both Sides Of Time," as well. This book had none stop action and was interesting. Todd could have been better developed, but that is my only complaint. I think Hiram Stratton, Sr., was shown to be a heartless human being better in this book than in the other two "Time" novels combined. I hope in the last book in this quad series, it will show why both Annie AND Todd were able to time travel - is it hereditary or just pure luck? I guess only *time* will tell...... I recommend.

Great end to a terriffic trilogy

Despite what others say, I found Prisoner of time one of the best books in the trilogy. This one offered a change of pace- instead of someone stepping back in time, someone stepped forward. I liked having a change of main characters- Tod and Devonny- as well.I really hope that this isn't the end of this series! Caroline B. Cooney has elaborated on this idea and makes it seem so real- sometimes I wonder if I'm going to fall back to 1900! A great end to a terriffic trilogy!

Prisoner of its Pages

"Prisoner of Time" is possibly one of the most riveting books I have ever read. It is definitely a page-turner. Don't start this book unless you have plenty of free time to read the whole thing, or someone to force you to put it down. When your friends have to hide it from you, you know you're hooked. Never has another book combined time travel, murder, and romance in such an interesting way, and no murder mystery has ever concealed the criminal so well. I also recommend the books companions. Although the third book is somewhat unrelated to the other two, it is just as well written.

I Love these books! I need more, I find I have too much time on my hands! I read most of the reviews and found some people enjoyed the idea of a book about Tod and Devonny and others wanted to hear about Annie and Strat, but I didn't see many requesting all four of them... So that's what I plan to do! PLEASE MAKE A BOOK WITH ALL FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know about everyone else but I want happy endings and many many many sequels!!!!!! I find it dissappointing when I find a great book and it doesn't have a sequel! anyone know of a never ending story? =o)

I havent read it yet, but......

I ma upset to hear that this book is not about Annie and Strat!! I read the other two in the series and cried at the end! I hope Caroline will write a book about Annie and Strat, concluding their romance. In the meantine i will buy Prisoner of time FOR SURE!!!
