GREAT Debut Novel...

Stephanie Newton's "Perfect Target" was one that I could not put down from the first page to the last. She had me wondering who was responsible for stalking Bayley and for the murders that were going on in Sea Breeze. I loved the characters of Bayley, Cruse and his sister Sailor. They were very much alive in the story. The relationship between Cruse and Bayley felt very natural, not rushed. I highly recommend this book. If you like Dee Henderson you would love this. I look forward to her next book "Moving Target". Great Job Stephanie!

Great Christian suspense

Perfect Target is an entertaining suspense. It looks like it might be part of a series and I look forward to the next book. The characters had real problems, solved in realistic ways. The revealing of past events that created Bayley and Cruse's inner conflicts was well done. I read the book in one sitting and I enjoyed every page.

Inspirational and Exciting

What a page turner! PERFECT TARGET has excitement on every page. It is filled with action, romance and an underlying faith that will inspire the reader. Stephanie Newton has an intimate knowledge of the Gulf both in its beauty and its politics. The author has a faith in God that is just as intimate and an obvious love for a good cup of coffee. A fun suspense novel that leaves you inspired is hard to find - PERFECT TARGET packs a lot into its pages and leaves you with memorable characters and a desire for the next book.

Stellar Debut Book!

Wow, what an awesome debut novel by Stephanie Newton! I never would have guesed this is a first book. Cruse and Bayley are such vivid characters (no cardboard cutout stereotypes here.) The suspense is gripping and fast paced. A winner from start to finish! I'm so pleased to see Newton has another book coming out so soon!

A slam-dunk of a debut novel!

PERFECT TARGET is a romantic suspense novel that's gritty without being grim, positive without being sugary. In her first book, Newton does a terrific job of sustaining a suspenseful plot while building a warm relationship between the hero and and heroine. Cruse Conyers and Bayley Foster are both likable, relatable characters -- each with their own issues to deal with before they reach their well-earned happily-ever-after. A very satisfying read!
