Motivating

this book is great. I started this book not knowing what to expect, but it motivated me to aim for the stars and go get them. The character in this book lost his mother, not befor her being able to tell him to live his life to the fullest and he did. He became used to a way of life, as we all do. However, after hearing his mothers advice he put his dreams into reality and became very successful. This book is a great read.

An Entertaining Contemporary Fiction Novel

Ivan David is a young accountant that has a yearning for something more. After some brainstorming, Ivan decides to start his own business by promoting networking events for his rich clients that he works with. As his events become more successful, Ivan starts to make a name for himself and catches the eye of Lucina Gallo. Lucina is the queen of San Diego's nightlife, and no party is complete until she enters the building. She's a businesswoman that is looking for a new partner, and Ivan fits the bill. Ivan and Lucina quickly become partners and are soon the talk of the town due to their highly successful promotions business. Ivan is swept away into the world of glitz, glamour, beautiful women and celebrities. Things get a little complicated when Ivan develops personal feelings for Lucina. Lucina wants to keep everything on the business level, but will Ivan be able to wear her down? Pecking Order is a wonderful novel by Omar Tyree. Tyree gives readers an in-depth example of how one can make their business dreams a reality with careful planning. You see how Ivan goes from being a successful accountant to being the top person for celebrities and industry promotions. Readers will see the gradual progression of Ivan as he builds his business, which is what makes this novel more realistic. You will also see how Ivan's popularity becomes a gift and a curse when it comes to women. Tyree did a good job in creating Ivan's character because you really want to see him make it to the top. This story is also full of all of the trappings of the affluent such as private jets and multi-million dollar business deals. There's not a lot of drama in this story, but that's what makes this story standout.
