John Boehner - On the House

John Boehner tells his story of being Number 2 of 12 children, learning about the Ohio work ethic, while contributing to the family business. Elected to congress he was a fiscal conservative that did his best to reduce waste in Washington. During his time as Speaker, politics became very polarized. John was an honest hard working politician. I enjoyed the stories that he told, from an Inside Baseball point of view. This book should be read by Republicans and Democrats, as a way to make help make politics function again. Bipartisan legislation with compromise is the secret to getting thing done in DC. Thanks for putting pen to paper, Mr. Boehner, as I enjoyed your American History lesson.
